Jodie and Luke and their adorable son Liam were an absolute pleasure to get to know on the lead-up to their wedding day. We did a pre-wedding (engagement) shoot at the Hayne House venue first, to get to know each other and get the creative juices flowing.
I knew we would connect as Luke was SO ORGANISED on the lead-up to the day; we talked a few times and agreed on the shot lists way in advance.
This way of working means I know EXACTLY what is expected of me on the wedding day, so I can let my guard down and enjoy the day… just as long as I stay within the parameters of my ‘shot list’…. when my couples and I are this prepared I can be more myself and shoot all the beautiful candid photos.
Unfortunately, it was a rainy September so the outdoor wedding became an indoor one! But that is the great thing about Hayne House; it is STILL beautiful when done indoors!
