Hayley and Darryl and I literally didn’t stop giggling all day!
Hayley was the epitome of calm while getting ready and she remained that way all the way through the day… apart from when she genuinely burst into hysterics when she had to say ‘I DO’. It was the most amazing thing to see – I almost started weeping with her! She did what to ‘normal’ people would be ‘ugly crying’.. yet somehow managed to remain to look beautiful. Darryl almost went as well!
It certainly was an emotional day. There was lots of silliness during my timeslot for photos and I literally could not get a word in edgeways.. and so I just joined in the fun and let the silliness evolve all around me, and I loved it.
Hayley and Darryl are one of those couples I just know I will stay in touch with (I did a maternity boudoir shoot with Hayley the year before the wedding).
I again find myself thanking the universe that I have such a cool job!

Wedding photography at Birchwood Park is an experience like no other. The expansive and lush grounds provide the perfect backdrop for any special moment – from capturing that rare shot of true love between a couple in the forest to getting the perfect shoot in the stunning gazebo.
It’s truly magical! Not only does it offer beautiful scenery for pictures, but its staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating too. I have loved every minute of wedding photography at Birchwood Park and look forward to many more occasions in this amazing venue.
